Using a corrective approach, we address muscle imbalances and ineffective movement patterns by assisting clients through the 4 phases of Functional & Corrective Exercise:
Phase I - Inhibiting & lengthening over-active muscle groups
PHASE II - Lengthening the muscle groups
PHASE III - Activation of underutilized muscle groups
PHASE IV - Integration of muscle groups through compound movement & exercise.
My focus is on helping clients understand the importance of "lengthening and strengthening," as it relates to injury prevention to continue engaging in their favorite fitness routines!

Meet Kelly ROQUE
Kelly is a certified personal trainer with a specialization in corrective exercise and a certification in Vinyasa Flow chair yoga. Having worked in special education as a teacher and a behavior specialist prior to staying home with my children, I developed individualized educational and behavioral programs for my students. It is with that same patience and mindfulness that I approach the needs of each student in my chair yoga and fitness classes as well as my personal training clients.
As a cancer survivor and mother to four children ages ten through twenty, I am keenly aware that all of us have a story and that personal training is about lifting my clients up not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I am truly excited to be a part of the Tru Nature Wellness family and look forward to connecting with all of you!
